New stock!

After a hectic few months with our move we are slowly getting back into the swing of things!

We have some fantastic new stock coming in at the moment, some super rare pieces and several project pumps, all has been sourced from individual collectors looking to downsize after 50+ years of collecting.

Items will be added shortly to the website. We are also scaling back our own personal collection with lots of collectable tins now available.

Keep checking back for updates to the stock pages to see whats new!

Gilbarco Gulf Pump

We have just started a restoration for a client on a Gilbarco salesmaker pump, to be finished in the iconic Gulf blue/orange racing colours. Pictures due soon!

Conde Nast Traveller Photoshoot

We recently supplied some items to Conde Nast for a photoshoot of high end watches and can now share the pictures with you. Including makes such as Rolex, Hublot and Breitling all with a motoring inspired theme. The article was a supplement to the Traveller magazine now out in print.

Great to see some of our humble collectable tins alongside some of the greatest watch brands around.

We are able to supply similar items for photoshoots, as film/TV props or display purposes. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

The Classic Motor Show, N.E.C. Birmingham.

Did you see us at the NEC?

Thank you to the organisers for yet another great Classic Motor Show and to all our customers and friends who stopped by the stand to say hello and purchase items. We took along many new pieces and managed to find a few gems while we were there as well, all of which will be online shortly.

Its been a busy couple of weeks preparing for the show and we’ll be updating the website stock over the course of this week so keep checking back to see whats new.

Thanks,  D.

Godwin Pump restoration

A sneak preview of our latest restoration project, a Godwin P1 skeleton pump.

Whilst still busy working on/off with other pump projects, seeking out more rare automobilia and the various ongoing show preparations, we are nearing the completion of the newest project to enter the workshop. We just love working on these early hand pumps and this one is no exception.

Of course, more pictures will be posted when its complete and, it will be for sale too! There is still some way to go but for now here’s a preview showing the first coats of its beautiful blue paintwork.

John Bull Poster Resto Update.

Just a little update on ‘Betty’ as she has affectionately become known. Restoration is a slow and delicate process but hopefully she is now looking more respectable and the efforts are worthwhile.

Normally I would be very wary of attempting work on such an item however the poster had suffered from plenty of wear over the years and we felt it was worth a go. Now she looks even more stunning!

John Bull Tyres Poster Finds New Home.

As Seen On TV!

Purchased by ‘Salvage Hunters’ host Drew Pritchard at a museum in Cornwall (Series 9 Episode 15) we fell in love with this original framed poster the moment we saw it, a rare piece of advertising we stumbled across it for sale online after the show had aired, recognised the piece and just had to have it.

She now has a new home in our own collection and will shortly be undergoing some restoration to bring her back to former glory.

Garage display for The Royal Automobile Club

We are delighted to be able to reveal a project we have just completed for The Royal Automobile Club.

The newly restored Motor House at the Woodcote Park estate has recently opened to club members and we had the great privilege of working with the club to put together a 1950’s garage scene, dressing one end of the stunning 18th century barn with period items to form a backdrop for the beautiful cars on display.

A project we have thoroughly enjoyed working on.
